Inclusive Pathways to Employment final evaluation findings and four principles for inclusive youth employment services

The Inclusive Pathways to Employment (IPE) Pilot is an NCED initiative in partnership with four Transition to Work providers across the country. Over the past two years, we have been investigating what it takes for mainstream youth employment services to support young people with disability to pursue their interests, aspirations, and goals, and to be socially and economically included in their communities.

We have been sharing stories and updates with you since it began - and we can now share what the evaluation has found.

This free webinar will interest professionals involved in supporting young people with disability as they transition from education to employment, including those working in policy and employment services.

In this webinar we will share evaluation findings including: 

• Participant outcomes: activities and progress across life domains, education/training and employment achievements 

• The value of IPE, which participants described as providing an inclusive, accessible and positive experience that supported their career journey. 

• How IPE built the capability of youth employment services to be inclusive and support young people with disability.  

We will conclude with the four key principles from the evaluation that can inform the development of inclusive youth employment services that work across systems to support young people with disability in their career journeys.
