This free webinar, developed by the National Collaboration on Employment and Disability Youth Advisors based on their lived experience of job seeking, walks through inclusive hiring practices that benefit applicants and hiring managers. Inclusive practices open opportunities to an untapped and talented workforce.

We made suggestions that:

  • Will streamline hiring and onboarding processes.
  • Allow applicants to display their strengths and alignment to the role.
  • Minimise miscommunication and misinterpretation.
  • Show organisational commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion principles.

You can take away practical suggestions to implement when you are hiring in your workplace. These use the principles of universal design to create processes that are usable by as many people as possible regardless of their age, ability, or background and without the need for specialised adaptations.
