Job seekers have the right to feel supported in pursuing their career goals by their employment service providers. They should feel confident to dream big and be provided with every opportunity possible to take their next steps towards those dreams.
This is a webpage created by the National Collaboration on Employment and Disability Youth Advisory team, based on their lived experiences of the ups and downs navigating employment services.
It has great advice and useful links for young people, especially disabled young people, to explore:
- what they need to thrive,
- their rights and how to advocate for them, and
- what employment service providers can and should be doing for them.
